Situated in the heart of Crathie the Bakehouse is a pure passion project.

The cafe is actually attached to Shona and Andys own house where their garage was.

surrounded by amazing landscapes and opportunities to get out and enjoy the area however there wasn’t anywhere to come back for a cuppa and lunch in Crathie so the Bakehouse was born.

Sourcing all their meat from HM Sheridan’s Butcher in Ballater , Coffee Beans roasted in Aberdeen by Figment , Shona making all the bread, cakes, pastries and let’s not forget the famous Butteries , making the most Local honest produce is what they are about.

Not only locally sourced the Bakehouse will leave you full and ready for your next adventure.
Muddy boots, Bikes and Dogs are all very welcome, There is even dog beds and treats waiting and a hot water bottle to warm you up too.
